PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dividing method in which a background and an object are separated precisely even regarding a particle image having an irregular concentration or a color irregularity in the background, or regarding a particle image having a small color-tone difference between the background and object particles. SOLUTION: Concentration coordinates are turned in such a way that one axis of the concentration coordinates becomes parallel to a direction in which a background concentration distribution 101 in a particle image is expanded most. The background concentration distribution 101 is separated from an object- region concentration distribution 102. In addition, an image is divided into three kinds of regions, i.e., a background, an object region and an intermediate region. After that, the intermediate region is integrated with one out of the background and the object region. As a result, the particle image can be divided into the regions precisely. |
