PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for providing contents to a user via a network. SOLUTION: A server system 14 receives a digital information acquisition request from a client node 10. The request has a resource locator specifying digital information for being obtained from a storage system 22. The system 14 communicates with the system 22 in accordance with the resource locator, and a file 112 having a copy of the specified digital information is dynamically generated and also stored in an address position of a memory 114. The system 14 redirects the client 10 to request to the address position through a newly and dynamically generated resource locator, accesses the file 112 and also transmits a copy of the digital information specified by the node 10 through a network.
