PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch, in which a fixed contact part is surely abutted on a first fixed terminal plate, and no possibility of contact failure exists. SOLUTION: In this switch 1, a stepped part 12 rising toward a second fixed terminal plate 11 side is formed in a first fixed terminal plate 10, and a fixed contact part 15 of a coil spring 3 is elastically abutted on the stepped part 12. Since dust is hardly accumulated on the stepped part 12 and thereby will not be interposed interlaid between the fixed contact part 15 and it, a contact failure between them can be prevented.
