In a mineral feed supplement containing phosphorus and calcium, at least part of the phosphorus is in the form of a polyphosphate of an alkali metal and/or of calcium, e.g. sodium tripolyphosphate. Preferably the ratio of calcium/phosphorus is equal to or less than unity. Examples relate to supplements containing anhydrous bicalcium phosphate, sodium chloride, magnesium sulphate and sodium tripolyphosphate. |
