PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote sound transmitter in which sound information such as sound of a remotely located mechanical operation and sound received by a stethoscope being generated by a person who is located in a remote area is efficiently transmitted and the time and the cost for such communication are reduced and to provide a remote sound receiver. SOLUTION: The transmitter is provided with a sound detecting section 11 which detects sound and converts the detected sound into electric signals, an analog/digital converting section 12 which converts the signals from the section 11 into digital signals, a compression processing section 13 which compresses the digital signals converted by the section 12 through a signal processing, and a transmission control section 14 which matches the signals compressed in the section 13 with the interface of a communication line 15 and outputs the signals. |
