<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which prevents generation of line defects due to disconnection of wiring and also to facilitate a high aperture ratio of pixels. SOLUTION: Auxiliary lines 5..., which are to be connected to data lines 2..., are provided on the lower side of pixel electrodes 4.... With a disconnection defect caused on the data line 2, voltage application is maintained to the data line 2 by bypassing the disconnected part by means of the auxiliary line 5. In addition, with a leak defect caused at the intersection of a gate line 1 and the data line 2, the data line 2 is cut on both sides of the gate line 1. In the case of this cutting, voltage application is also maintained to the data line 2 by means of the auxiliary line 5.</p> |
