PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component, wherein the mounting space on both front and rear surfaces of a circuit board is effectively used for preventing the occurrence of connection failure or falling of an electronic component from the circuit board. SOLUTION: In an electronic part 1, wherein a plurality of connection terminals 14 to be connected to a conductor pattern 33 formed at a circuit board P1 are fixed to a part main body, while being attachable to the circuit board P1 that a part of the part main body is positioned within a part main body insert hole 31 formed at the circuit board P1, an engagement means 16 is formed which allows temporary fitting of the part main body to a specified position of the circuit board P1, by engaging with an engagement means Pa on the side of circuit board 1.
