PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of the recording/reproduction signal of a magneto-optic storage medium. SOLUTION: The film thickness of a light transmission dielectric layer 6 near a converging lens 1 of a magneto-optic storage medium 2 where at least a metal reflection layer 3, a rear dielectric layer 4, a magneto-optic recording layer 5, and a light transmission dielectric layer 6 are successively laminated is set to be 50-80 nm. Alternatively, a refractive index (n) of the light transmission dielectric layer 6 is selected to satisfy a relationship of n0×0.8<=n, where n0 is the refractive index of the focusing lens 1.
