PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute writing into a flash ROM and the reception of data to a common buffer in parallel and to write sound and moving pictures into the flash ROM on a real time basis. SOLUTION: A RAM for temporarily accumulating data from an outer interface 29 is provided. When a control part 21 is executing deletion/writing on a flash ROM, data inputted from the outer interface 29 are accumulated in the RAM. The control part 21 writes data of the RAM into the flash ROM as soon as the writing of data into the flash ROM is terminated. When the data of the flash ROM are read, they are outputted to the outer interface 29 as they are without involving the RAM. The flash ROM is used as a storage medium and data are written without depending on the specification of the flash ROM. At the time of writing data into the flash ROM, a data compression/ expansion circuit 22 compresses data and they are expanded when they are read from the flash ROM. |
