<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent crackings of a resin part such as secondary spool due to the shrinkage force of a resin packing material packed inside an ignition coil. SOLUTION: A primary coil 20 wound around a primary spool 19 and a secondary coil 20 wound around a secondary spool are concentrically housed in a cylindrical coil case 11, a resin-packing material 24 such as epoxy resin is packed into the coil case 11, so that the parts in the coil case 11 insulate and fixed each other. At the upper park in the coil case 11, a ring-like disconnection member 30 is provided for disconnecting the resin-pacing material 24 packed above the coils 20 and 22 into an inside and an outside parts. The disconnection member 30 is formed of resin which has weak adhesive force with respect the resin-packing material 20, for example, polypropylene(PP). The disconnection member 30 acts to relax the shrinkage force between the outside resin-packing material 24 and the inside resin packing material 24, for preventing crackings of a resin part such as a secondary spool 21.</p> |
