<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily operate an NC machine by relatively moving a work and a tool which are displayed, manipulating the display, and generating or modifying a mechanical program according to the manipulation. SOLUTION: A storage device 12 of a storage unit 17 provided to the teach-in module 2 stores work data, tool data, and instructions representing the relative movement between a tool and a work together with a segment of a program 16 as an arithmetic means executed by an arithmetic unit 11. Then the stored work and tool, and the relative positions of the work and tool are visually displayed together with a monitor 14 by another segment of the program 16. This display is manipulated and according to the manipulation, the machine control program is generated or modified.</p> |
