PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replica system which is adaptive to a database management system structured by different kind of database programs and further applicable to files by obtaining data in standard data format and converting them to data format for writing, and then sending a command and writing the converted data. SOLUTION: When a write request is received from a replica manager 74 together with data, the data are converted to the data format for a copy file A, then a file name is specified, and a write instruction for the data is issued to a distributed computer 2d. A data managing program 8 on the distributed computer 2d writes the data to a copy file A5d. Consequently, when a copy DB and a copy file A are altered, the alteration is handled only by making correction on the distributed computer 2d having the copy DB and copy file A, thereby shortening the correction time.
