PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method and a winding device with which a plurality of wires can be wound into coils without producing twists, and multipolar coils can be formed successively. SOLUTION: A wire-holding jig 110 is arranged, so as to have its center part positioned beneath the rotation center of a winding frame 20. A plurality of wires W drawn out of nozzles 75 in parallel with each other are held on the winding frame 20, the winding frame 20 and the wire-holding jig 110 are made to turn synchronously in that state, the wires W are wound around the winding frame 20 predetermined turns to form coils, the wire-holding jig 110 is horizontally shifted and positioned, the wire-holding jig 110 or the winding frame 20 is made to ascend/descend and the coils are put into a prescribed gap of the guide rods of the wire holding jig and held, and the wire holding jig 110 is arranged so as to have its center part repositioned beneath the rotation center of the winding frame 20 for winding. By repeating this series of processes, multipolar coils composed of a plurality of wires laid in parallel with each other can be formed successively.
