PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recorder, a voice reproducing device and a voice processing device in which a retrieving is easily performed by index information. SOLUTION: If an index mark button of an operation input section 12 is pressed while the voice inputted from a microphone 1 is compressed by a digital signal processing section 5 and is recorded in a first recording region of a recording medium 7, the voice inputted after the above operation is recorded in a second recording region as index voice data and the position information of the data is written in the header of a file in the first recording region. If the button is pushed during a reproducing, the information is retrieved from the file header and the index voice data are reproduced. Since a recording region is divided into for normal voice and index voice uses, only index voice data are easily reproduced.
