<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for processing voice information in which voice information in one voice one file format is converted to the format that is acceptable to a CD-ROM generating system and obtained by making plural voice files into one file, and by which a voice information retrieval table is generated. SOLUTION: If an operator issues a work instruction (S1), start/finish positions of voice information are detected from an original voice file (S2), the number of sectors required to store the information from the detected start/ finish positions is computed (S3), and a writing is conducted to a retrieval table (S4). Moreover, insufficient portion of the voice information, which is not sufficient for the computed number of sectors, is adjusted so as to change the completion position of the voice information (S5) and the adjusted voice information that is corrected to a sector unit, is linked (S6).</p> |
