<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectral image of an infrared ray area without having a spectral optial system by relatively moving an image formed on a light receiving surface and an infrared ray receiving picture element array, and obtaining a infrared ray spectrum of the image on the basis of a relatively moving pattern and respective picture element outputs of infrared ray receiving picture elements. SOLUTION: An infrared ray solid image pickup element 14 is moved in the picture element row juxtaposing direction to scan an image pickup range E2. Picture element values obtained in respective positions are successively imparted to a spectrum acquiring part 17. Frame memories of the number corresponding to the image pickup range E2 are prepared for the spectrum acquiring part 17, and picture element values obtained by required picture element rows are taken in from successively transferred picture element values to be successively stored in corresponding frame memories. This is performed on the respective picture element rows, and picture element values obtained from the whole area of the image pickup range E2 are stored, so that a spectral image can be obtained on an image formed in the image pickup range E2 on the basis of the whole frame memory.</p> |
