<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two-component developer having high developing ability and using an electrophotographic carrier that effectively prevents spending by which a toner film is formed on the surface of the carriers and is so excellent in durability that superior characteristics are not impaired even by long- term use. SOLUTION: The two-component developer contains a magnetic resin coated carrier with magnetic carrier core particles having at least a resin binder and fine magnetic material particles and a resin coating layer disposed on the surfaces of the magnetic carrier core particles. The resin binder is a thermosetting resin having benzene rings. The resin coating layer contains a resin having phenyl groups and a reactive amino compound having an amino group as a functional group. The 50% average particle diameter of the developer on volume basis is 10-50μm, and the fluidity is 20-60 sec/50 g.</p> |
