<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory display by reducing coupling capacitances among pixel electrodes adjacent to each other, especially, coupling capacitances among pixel electrodes adjacent to each other in a row direction as much as possible. SOLUTION: Relating to respective pixel electrodes 234 which are to be connected to a certain one line of scanning line 212y with TFD elements 220, a dummy line 252y which is electrically independent of any scanning line is provided at gap parts among the pixel electrodes. The same may be said of pixel electrodes 234 which are to be connected to other scanning lines 212(y-1), (y+1). Since wiring lines other than wiring lines to which pixel electrodes equivalent to one row are to be connected are provided among pixel electrodes equivalent to one row each other in this manner, coupling capacitances among pixel electrodes each other are reduced by wiring lines provided gaps among the pixel electrodes and, as the result, a satisfactory picture can be displayed.</p> |
