SOLUTION: In a method for estimating the treeing advance state in a cable core wire having a conductor portion and the insulator portion 2 covering the same, tree growing quantities of the cable core wire at a plurality of places are measured and the estimated max. tree growing quantity in the cable core wire is obtained by performing the statistical analysis of trouble on the basis of the measured tree growing quantity data.
