PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timer having a body with high sealing effect. SOLUTION: An apparatus body is a box which is formed by combining a case 1 and a lid 2 having an opening in all one surface. The tip end of walls surrounding the opening of the case 1 becomes seal part 1d and is contained inside the wall 2a of the lid 2. Seal member 3 is arranged in the bottom surface of the lid 2 and the seal member 3 is pinched in between the inner bottom surface of the lid 2 and the tip end 1a of the seal part 1d. The tip 1a of the seal part 1d inclines to the inner bottom of the lid 2 toward the direction approaching from the outside of the opening to the inside and the cross section of the seal part 1d is formed in wedge shape.
