PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television which can reduce the rasping humming noises of low frequency which are generated when the voice signals is at a prescribed sound level or less and can improve the S/N in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 14 detects the sound volume level that is selected on a control panel 9 or the sound volume level of the voice output given from a low frequency power amplifier circuit 16. When the detected sound volume level becomes the prescribed value or less, the sound volume level of a prescribed frequency band where the humming noises of a low range are generated are automatically attenuated. Thus, the generation of the humming noises can be suppressed. As a result, the S/N that is deteriorated by the lowering of the sound volume level of a television 10 can be improved. |
