SUBSCRIBER TERMINAL AND RADIO BASE STATION RECOGNITION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a subscriber terminal to automatically recognize the best radio base station at a fixed position. SOLUTION: A radio base station detection means 1a detects radio base stations that can receive a radio wave in a consecutive reception mode. An area number recognition means 1b recognizes the area numbers of radio base stations whose position can be registered. A radio base station extract means 1c extracts radio base stations with the area numbers among the detected radio base stations. A synchronization control means 1d synchronizes the terminal with a radio base station with a maximum reception level among the extracted radio base stations.
