PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for obtaining the stable sensitivity of an element by a simple heating system. SOLUTION: Pulse heating is made to a fluorescent material for three times due to lamp heating in a TLB reader that is used for measuring a TL badge. One pulse heating time ranges from 30 to 100 msec, and an element is heated to approximately 320 deg.C by the heating. In this state, the sensitivity of the element has been reduced, and a pulsive heating of 30-100 msec is made for one to three times with a lower voltage than an initial lamp voltage by approximately 1 V with cooling time of approximately 1-2 seconds after that.
