PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key selection device capable of efficiently selecting a desired setting value with optimum operability in the case of selecting the desired setting value from plural setting values set beforehand by a key operation. SOLUTION: For setting the channel number of a program to be recorded on a timer image recording setting screen or the like, when the channel up button 61 or channel down button 62 of a remote controller 60 is continuously pressed, a microcomputer 40 successively selects channels with stations at a high channel switching rate if the number of the channels preset to an EEPROM 50 is large, sequentially selects the channels with the stations at a low channel switching rate if the number of the channels is small and displays them on the timer image recording setting screen. Thus, this key selection device capable of efficiently selection the desired channel with the optimum operability is provided.
