PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of the settling value of a power system protective relay by fetching an on-line system constitution and power flowing state from an on-line computer for monitoring and controlling and deciding on the set value by using fetched on-line data. SOLUTION: In a power system, an on-line computer 101 for monitoring and controlling and a computer 102 for deciding settling value of relay are connected to each other through a communication channel. The computer 102 is provided with a means, which fetches on-line system constitution data and power flowing state data from the on-line computer 101, a power flow calculating means which executes power flow calculation by using the fetched data, a fault calculating means which executes fault calculation by using the calculated results of the power flow calculating means, and a settling value deciding means which decides the set value of a protective relay based on the calculated results of the power flow calculating means and fault calculating means. |
