PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defective picture from being produced and deterioration of display quality. SOLUTION: When cooled, a liquid crystal 2 tends to shrink its volume so as to generate a gap part. In a liquid crystal panel P1, however, because a recessing part 4, in the state the liquid crystal 2 is not filled therein, is formed in a non-pixel region C, the gap part A1 is generated inside the non-pixel region C utilizing the recessing part 4 as a nucleus and is not generated in the pixel region D. Consequently, a defective picture caused by generation of a gap part in the pixel region D and deterioration of display quality accompanied therewith are prevented. |
