<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instruction inputting method which accurately and quickly performs a browser operation and also displays information to be originally shown on a display device without obstructing it and to provide its remote controller for a system where the display device is small and also an input instruction is performed by remote control. SOLUTION: A remote controller 1 operating a browser image is provided with a vertically moving inputting part 13 and a horizontally moving inputting part 14, decides the moving direction of the browser image based on the phases of two pulses generated according to a rotation direction, and decides the moving speed of the browser image based on the number of pulses generated in accordance with a rotation speed. Thus, the browser image is scrolled vertically and horizontally, and a target operation is inputted according to its physical relationship with a cursor fixed to a prescribed part of a display device.</p> |
