<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of parts and to make the assembling work of the parts easier by integrally holding a diode on an insulating case at the time of molding the case. SOLUTION: An insulating case 16 for housing a bobbin 12 for primary coil and another bobbin 13 for secondary coil is formed by molding an electrical insulator, such as the synthetic resin, etc., and provided with a high-voltage terminal assembly 30 on its outer periphery. The assembly 30 is constituted by electrically connecting a high-voltage terminal 31 and a high-voltage diode 32 to each other. The assembly 30 is integrally held on the case 16 at the time of molding the case 16. The case 16 is molded in such a way that, after the assembly 30 is arranged in the molding tool of the case 16, a molten resin is poured in the tool and cured. When the molten resin is poured in the tool, the assembly 30 is welded to the case 16 by the molten resin.</p> |
