PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly lower an indoor temperature by suitably controlling an indoor fan air volume and rapidly raising a capacity of a refrigerating cycle when cooling is started. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a refrigerating cycle constituted by connecting a compressor, a condensing side heat exchanger, a flow control valve and an evaporating side heat exchanger, and by circulating a refrigerant, and a fan control means for changing an air volume of a fluid to be heat exchanged of the evaporating side exchanger, thereby operating in an operating pattern for controlling an inlet temperature and an outlet temperature of the fluid to be exchanged in the evaporating side exchanger. A fan air volume of the evaporating side exchanger is set to an intermediate value or above of a changing range irrespective of the pattern for controlling the inlet or outlet temperature of the fluid of the evaporating side exchanger when a cooling is started. |
