摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the burden on a compressor in the superheat control of an air conditioner by getting out of a liquid back state quickly during rotation of the compressor at a low r.p.m. SOLUTION: The temperature difference (quantity of S-H) between the inlet refrigerant temperature of a compressor 1 and the heat exchanging temperature of an evaporator is detected at every specified time. One of different regulation quantities (number of pulses) preset for a plurality of ranges depending on the detected quantity of S-H is then selected in order to regulate the opening of an electronic expansion valve 5. An r.p.m. detecting section 11a in an outdoor unit control section 11 detects the r.p.m. of the compressor 1 upon detection of the quantity of S-H and a counter section 11b is incremented if the r.p.m. is lower than a specified value and the quantity of S-H falls within a specified range. When that state is sustained and the count at the counter section 11b reaches 3, a pulse altering section 11c alters the regulation amount of opening of the electronic expansion valve 5 to a regulation amount larger than that preset at the pulse altering section 11e. When the quantity of S-H exceeds a specified value after control, the opening of the electronic expansion valve 5 is regulated in reverse direction.
