PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drive margin from drastically lowering due to panel temp. SOLUTION: When a scanning signal C applied to a scanning electrode with a reset pulse C1 is constituted, a write-in pulse C2 and an auxiliary pulse C3, the pulse width of the reset pulse C1 is changed according to the temp. so that the value of crosstalks becomes nearly a maximum value, regardless of the panel temp. Thus, even in a high definition liquid crystal panel for which the number of scanning electrodes exceeds 2,000 pieces, the drive margin becomes nearly maximum value, regardless of the panel temp., and an satisfactory quality image is displayed.
