PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a laser device stably for long period by forming a steam source metal holder out of a material that is easy to wet with molten metal of steam source metal, providing the steam source metal holder with a bottom's rear surface wall curved almost along an inner wall of a discharge tube, and forming bank-like walls obstructing outflow of molten metal at both end parts. SOLUTION: A plurality of steam source metal holders 31 are placed with specified intervals on the inside bottom of a discharge tube 11, and these steam source metal holders 31 are formed out of a high-melting point metal which has superior wettability to a metal into which a steam source metal 10 is liquefied, that is, melted by heating. The steam source metal holder 31 is provided with a curving part 31a that is formed along the bottom of inner wall of the discharge tube 11 so as to mount on the bottom of inner wall of the discharge tube 11 with mechanical stability, and bank-like walls 31b obstructing outflow of molten metal that are provided on both end parts in the longitudinal direction, so that the melted steam source metal 10 is hard to flow out of the holder 31. |
