摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the press work of a split stator easier so that accuracy may be maintained by making the end faces of back yoke pieces flat in non-radial directions crossing the radial direction of the stator and, in addition, to make the directions of the end faces adjacent to the flat end faces along the axial direction of the stator different from each other. SOLUTION: A ring-like stator 1 having slots 1c is constituted by connecting arcuate back yoke pieces 1A to each other and inwardly projecting salient pole sections 1a are respectively formed on the pieces 1a. The end faces 1b of the pieces 1A are made flat in non-radial directions crossing the radial direction R of the stator 1 and the pieces 1A are laminated upon another along the axial direction. When the pieces 1A are laminated upon another in the directions of the end faces 1b which are equal to the connecting state of the pieces 1A, a sufficient strength can be secured against external forces, because the bond strength of each end face 1b on the outer peripheral surface of the stator 1 is improved. The back yoke pieces 1 are formed in the same shape by laminating the pieces 1 upon another in such a way that each adjacent pieces 1A in the axial direction of the stator 1 are paired and the end faces 1b of the pieces 1A are oriented in the opposite directions by inverting one piece 1A against the other piece 1A by 180 deg..
