PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent electrification and make it possible to noticeably reduce the appearance of a static mark by lading a protective film with a polyoxyethylene compound. SOLUTION: A protective film contains a polyoxyethylene compound in the 1 mg/m2 to 2 g/m2 range. The polyoxyethylene compound is a compound that has two or more oxyethelene groups; usually three or more, preferably five or more and especially desirably five to one hundred. Moreover, it is preferable that the polyoxyethylene compound has an ionic group. It is allowable that the ionic group is a cationic group or an anionic one. When the polyoxyethylene compound is nonionic or betaine, it is desirable to add an ionic compound such as an ionic surfactant further. It is more desirable that the polyoxyethylene compound has two or more hydroxy groups, and it is particularly preferable that the polyoxyethylene compound is a polymer which has hydroxy groups on both ends.
