PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a more accurate time and date table by providing a means for correcting an error equivalent to delay time generated in an internal signal processing process for time information included in demodulated digital broadcasting signals. SOLUTION: A time correction circuit 7 is constituted of a TDT(time and date table) value read circuit 1, an addition value setting circuit 2, a TDT value addition circuit 3 and a TDT value rewrite circuit 4. In this case, at the time of defining a TDT information reception timing in the reception signals of an ISDB-T demodulator 5 as Tr, a TDT information retransmission timing in the retransmission output signals of an ISDB-T modulator 6 as Tt, the processing time of the ISDB-T demodulator 5 as Ddemo, the processing time of the ISDB-T modulator 6 as Dmod and the delay time of the reception and retransmission of TDT information as Tdelay, the relation of Tdelay=Tt-Tr= Ddemo+Dmod≈αis established. That is, the valueαapproximated to Tdelay is set to the addition value setting circuit 2 beforehand and added in the TDT value addition circuit 3 and further, the TDT value of TS(Transport Stream) signals is rewritten in the TDT value rewrite circuit 4.
