A filtration assembly comprises a housing 1 having a liquid entry port 2 at a first end thereof and a sump 4 at a second end. A liquid exit port 9 is positioned in housing 1 between liquid entry port 2 and sump 4. Filtration means 5 is positioned inside and is spaced apart from housing 1 and extends across liquid exit port 9 with at least two liquid tight seals 6, 6a positioned between filtration means 5 and housing 1. At least one seal is on either side of exit port 9.
