PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make developer recyclable for every color by storing developer (toner and carrier) colored in a plurality of colors recovered from a latent image carrier in each chamber for a container while classifying the developer for every color. SOLUTION: Developer (toner and carrier) colored in a plurality of colors recovered from the latent image carrier is stored in each chamber for the container while classifying the developer by color so as to be recycled. As for the device, a drum type developer recovering container 3 is arranged at the end part of a developing drum on the extension of the shaft of the developing drum so that the container may be attachable/detachable to/from the developing drum. Four wall parts are arranged inside the developing drum, and the inside of the developing drum is divided into four chambers (for yellow, magenta, cyan and black) through the wall parts. The diameter of the container 3 is almost equal to that of the developing drum, and the inside of the recovering container 3 is partitioned by radial wall parts 5' to 8' so as to form chambers 2Y', 2M', 2C' and 2BK' communicating with four chambers for the developing drum. |
