<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly house a wire harness in a narrow space. SOLUTION: A pair of protector parts 2 and 3 are connected bendably with a hinge 4. A retaining and turning clamp 5 is provided on one 2 of the protector parts 2 and 3, at a position close to the end opposite to the end attached to the hinge 4. The thin hinge 4 has a restoration force in a bending direction. The hinge 4 can be made of resin molded into a bent form. The hinge 4 may be composed of a support shaft and a bearing part. In this case, a stopper which prevents the hinge from being bent in an opposite direction is provided. Also covers may be provided on the protector parts at positions close to the hinge. A wire harness is put into the protector parts 2 and 3. One 2 of the protector parts 2 and 3 is retained rotatably on the side of a unit to be incorporated, and the other protector part 3 is positioned on the side of an assembling unit. When the former unit is incorporated by the latter, the pair of protector part are folded into a V-shape. In this state, the wire harness is connected.</p> |
