<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an intermediate tractive device arranged between terminals of plural-cable laying sheath pipes to lay a series of cables into the sheath pipes so as to facilitate handling. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a casing 3 having a hole penetrated in a longitudinal direction along longitudinally two-split opposed joining faces, a rotary drive roller 5 provided inside the casing 3 to propel a cable 2 passing through the hole forward, and sheath pipe fitting parts 3a provided in both ends of the hole to connect the casing 3 to cable laying sheath pipes 1, 1' air- tightly. The cable 2 coming in through the sheath pipe 1 in one side is fed to an inside of the sheath pipe 1' in the other side through the hole together with gas for force feed, while applying propulsion force by the roller 5.</p> |
