PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle route guide system which can contribute to the improvement of consistency between an actual road and a display picture and the improvement of the communication efficiency. SOLUTION: In a base station 2, map data and route additional information which indicates visually recognizable features on roads are preliminarily stored in a road map data storage part 21, and route additional information placed on a searched route is retrieved from the road map data storage part 21 by a route search part 23, and this route information and route additional information are transmitted from a base station-side communication part 19 to a navigation device 1. In the navigation device 1, route information and route additional information received from the base station are displayed on a display part 7 one over the other. |
