PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device having a high cooling efficiency and an analysis device using the same. SOLUTION: This device includes a deuterium lamp 4 which emits a predetermined light by causing a discharge between an anode part 20 and a cathode part 22, a lamp storage container 6 having a lamp storage part 28 for storing the deuterium lamp 4 and having a pipe fixing part 32, and a heat pipe 30 provided in the pipe fixing part 32. The deuterium lamp 4 and the lamp storage container 6 have respective positioning means 36, 26, whereby the cathode part 22 side of the deuterium lamp 4 is positioned in proximity to the pipe fixing part 32.
