PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize contact resistance by holding variations of contact force at contact parts with electronic parts of IC chips or the like, and provide a socket with a small inductance. SOLUTION: This socket 1 has many contact pins 9 to connect a detachably held IC chip 5 with an external circuit, and is constituted so that the contact parts 99 of the contact pins 9 and a flexed part 11a of an IC lead 11 are electrically connected by pressing the contact parts of the contact pins 9 against the flexed part 11a of the IC lead 11 of the IC chip. The contact parts of the contact pins 9 are formed in almost flat shape. In the vicinity of the spring parts 92 of the contact pins 9, a connecting part 97 for bypassing capable of electrically connecting the closest part of the external terminal 91 with the contact parts in a state of pushing the contact parts against the flexed part 11a of the IC lead 11 is placed.
