The valve comprises a needle (46) with a magnetic material core (54). The valve has a front permanent magnet (30) which holds the needle in a position in which it rests on a seat when closed and a rear permanent magnet (38) which ensures the needle is held in a rear position corresponding to a first flow. The front coil (32) is arranged to the rear of the front magnet and one of the coils (34) is provided in order to maintain the needle in an advanced intermediate position corresponding to a second flow. The electrical supply to the coils can be controlled so that the needle is displaced between the furthermost positions and the intermediate position.
