PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage bottle quenching device which can prevent the liquid in a container from being scattered. SOLUTION: In a quenching device 1, a container 11 filled with an antifreeze liquid L is housed in a refrigerating chamber 10. The diameter of the inserting port 11b of the container 11 is made smaller than that of the barrel section 11a of the container 11 and a closing cap 13 is attachably arranged to the port 11b. A supporting member 15 which holds an inserted bottle B and a cooling coil 19 which cools the antifreeze liquid L are housed in the container 11 and, in addition, an agitating pump 14 which agitates the liquid L is inserted into the container 11. The bottle seat 16 of the supporting member 15 is formed in a foldable state and a receiving base 18 is inserted into the container 11 through the inserting port 11b in a divided state. In addition, the cooling coil 19 is inserted into the container 11 through a coil passing port 11c formed in the upper section of the container 11.
