PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive sealing implement which enables a user to easily, safely and surely carry out sealing work even one-handedly. SOLUTION: This sealing implement consists of a sealing implement body B which unopenably seals divided cases 5 by being inserted into single or plural coaxially successively disposed sealing holes 4a and sealing lead C. One end of the sealing implement body B inserted into the sealing hole 4a is provided with a self-locking part 1 which has a portion offset outward in a diametral direction from at least the inner edges of the sealing holes 4a, is pressed to the opening edges 4b of the sealing holes 4a and is non-advanceably and non- retreatably engaged in an insertion direction 1e. The sealing implement provided with a check part 2 which prevents the removal of the sealing lead C by its own weight by flaring outward from the mouth edge 6a of the through-hole 6 of the passed sealing lead C at the other end of the sealing implement body B and is provided with undulating surfaces 3 meshed with the inside surface of the through-hole of the sealing lead C crushed by pressurization between the self-locking part 1 and the check part 2 is constituted.
