<p>A surface treating film is spread on a base material glass so that a maximum transmittance and minimum transmittance of an integral body containing base material glass and surface treating film within an effective picture plane satisfy a specified mathematical expression (1). Even flattened panel glass permits us to recognize a uniform-brightness image with an excellent contrast, thereby providing panel glass and a CRT with a minimum double-line occurance.</p> |
