The invention relates to a machine for perforating/punching shoe toe caps and counters regardless of size and material. The machine takes out the toe cap or counter from a reservoir by means of a pneumatic cup and places it on a belt conveying it to two other belts that convey the material by friction to a piston (10) that blocks the counter at a point where the hammers (7) exert pressure on the counter to punch it. A part (5) retains the counter while the hammer move up to their starting position. Pistons unblock then the counter allowing it to advance on the belts towards a storage container. Said machine makes it possible to choose the number and shape of the holes due to the fact that the number, thickness and arrangement of the hammers is variable and that it can comprise 1 to 4 pistons with their corresponding sets of hammers and counter dies.
