<p>The invention relates to solutions containing acidic compositions that have a pH of less than 1, are non-caustic to human tissue and are safe for human ingestion. These compositions may be used as the sole or major component of solutions such as cleansers, pharmaceuticals, food preservatives and disinfectants. The acidic compositions may be used in medical, industrial, military and household applications.
