The device is carried on the wrist of the user. It has a wrist strap (12), a housing (10), a first indicator (14) shaped like a tennis court with two ends (16,18), and two separate manual setting elements (22,24). Each of these is associated with one end, and are used to record points and show the actual score. Each court end also has a table (20) to indicate the set score. A further indicator (38) shows which players is leading, and there is a loudspeaker (26) for acoustic operation and/or to indicate e.g. 'tie break' 'match ball' etc..
