STRUCTURE AND PREPARATION OF TRANSFERABLE SCREEN TINTS USED IN COLOR RESTORATION OF PICTORIAL WORKS AND POLYCHROMED SCULPTURE

The invention relates to the structure and preparation of transferable screen tints used in color restoration of pictorial works and polychromed sculpture. The present invention defines the structure and different methods for preparing transferable screen tints, on the basis of which color restoration and polychromed sculpture are effected, e.g. by pressure transfer and three-color superimposition of the sign images (dots, lines, etc) supported therein. Alternative preparation methods of said transferable screen tints are also described such as silk screening or screen printing methods; computerized methods using light-exposed photosensitive emulsions in contact with halftone negatives and their subsequent processing.
